No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our users/community well if we don't have a good committee behind the team. If this sounds like you?... We would love you to consider volunteering with us for a few hours per month.
The Rockvale rebound provides printed information e.g. local newspapers etc. on audible digital, free to print impaired people i.e.. blind, deaf-blind & partially sighted people in West Dunbartonshire. The service is only provided thanks to the invaluable help of our team of volunteers. Currently we are seeking someone to become our secretary.
Someone with some clerical or secretarial knowledge or experience is required by the Rockvale Rebound talking newspaper for the blind, in Dumbarton.
Duties: To work/liaise with other volunteers to ensure the production of our fortnightly recordings. Arrange/call committee meetings, (currently held by telephone conference call) and produce minutes. Be the focal point and front facing contact for the organisation.
We are a small friendly group and any volunteers will be made most welcome.
