Festive Food Deliveries/Volunteer Driver

In this role, you’ll help deliver festive meals to people in need in our community, ensuring they receive them safely and on time.
You must have your own transport available. Deliveries will be picked up from a local community kitchen, packed into your vehicle and delivered around East Dunbartonshire.

Experience required

Responsibilities

• Pick-Up: Collect pre-packaged meals.
• Delivery: Deliver meals to people in the community.
• Guidelines: Follow all safety and hygiene rules.
• Reporting: Inform the coordinator of any issues during delivery.

Training details

There will be staff support on the 24th December – there won’t be any induction or training needed, just enthusiasm!

Restrictions

Minimum age: 18

Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
