The Chair will attend and chair Board meetings and AGMs and provide leadership and guide the members of the Board of COSCA to set overall policy and targets and monitor outcomes. The Chair will understand the voluntary sector, governance of a charity, charity law and the funding of charities and be committed to the advancement of COSCA and counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland.
Experience required
Be a strategic thinker, able to communicate well and work collaboratively with colleagues and the Chief Executive. Be willing to devote time and effort to COSCA and represent it where appropriate.
Travel details
Travel to Stirling to attend Board meetings and the AGM.
Travel expenses
Agreed in advance travel and other expenses will be reimbursed.

Attend 4 quarterly meetings per annum of the Board on a Monday and the AGM in September.
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
