Charity Trustee

32F Squadron Air Training Corps (part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets) are looking for new charity trustees to join a newly formed board. By joining us as a trustee, your work behind the scenes will provide new opportunities for our cadets, helping them to experience unique opportunities and build life skills.
For a small time commitment, you will contribute to providing life-changing youth work for young people in Glasgow.
The trustees would be expected to meet approximately once every 3 months, while remaining in contact occasionally between meetings. A typical meeting would involve reviewing requests for financial support from the Commanding Officer, preparing reports for the regulator, and assisting the Commanding Officer to promote the squadron's public profile.
Trustees are required to become members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme, which will be paid for by the organisation.
We value having a diverse board of trustees from a variety of backgrounds. For a no commitment discussion on the role, please press the 'Apply' button below or email the Squadron Adjutant at [email protected]
If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when registered and logged in). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder on your emails just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out, then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow on [email protected]
