Fundraising and Events Volunteer

Be part of the energy behind our events and help raise vital funds for the Moira Anderson Foundation.
As a Fundraising and Events Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in helping us connect with the community, raise awareness, and generate income that directly supports the people who rely on our services.
This is a hands-on and flexible role where no two days are the same. You might be supporting at events, helping organise activities, or building relationships in your local area. Some volunteers enjoy being out front engaging with the public, while others prefer helping behind the scenes, both are equally important.
 
What you’ll be involved in:
Supporting and attending fundraising events and activities
Representing the Foundation and engaging with the public
Helping source, collect and organise raffle prizes
Supporting the setup and running of events and community activities
Helping manage and place donation cans within the local community
Working alongside staff and volunteers to bring events to life
 
What we’re looking for:
Friendly, approachable and confident speaking to people
Someone who enjoys being part of a team environment
Reliable and motivated
Willingness to get involved and try new things
Comfortable using email and basic systems
A passion for making a difference in your community
