Non Executive Director

To deliver creative language learning experiences for refugee children, sole-trader Le Petit Monde Stories (LPMS) is transitioning into a Community Interest Company and seeking 2 Non-Executive Directors.
LPMS is committed to supporting language learning within the community through its innovative Creative Puppetry for Languages approach. This method combines bilingual storytelling, creativity, and imaginative play to help children develop language skills in an emotionally safe and engaging way. The business will have 2 strands, based on the approach:

  • Supporting French learning / teaching in schools through quality toolkits.

  • Working directly with children from refugee and asylum-seeking families, helping them build confidence in speaking English while fostering inclusion, creativity, and social connection.
If you are passionate about languages, creative education, social impact, or community integration, this is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise and help shape the future of an emerging social enterprise.
    Responsibilities:
As a Non-Executive Director, you will help guide the organisation by:

  • Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company

  • Providing support, insight, and guidance to the executive director
