The Scottish SPCA mission is to rescue animals in need across Scotland, providing rehabilitation, rehoming or release back into the wild, while also working to prevent cruelty and improve animal welfare standards. Could you give a small amount of your time to raise awareness of our work in your local community or to help raise vital funds for Scotland's animals. Your role will involve representing the society in your local community, engaging with the general public, attending fundraising activities such as public collection, stalls, fayres and events. You will be responsible for managing collections cans in your local area, counting, banking and reporting income raised .We can tailor your volunteering role around your current commitements, all we ask is that you commit to helping with 2 events a year. Experience required
Passionate about animal welfare and the mission of the Society.
Friendly and approachable.
Confident in building relationships.
Willing to use email and online systems.
Excited to meet new people and make a difference.
Based in your local community, with flexibility on how far you are willing to travel.
Happy to undertake necessary statutory training.
Travel expenses
