To work with the TSH/GGL staff team.
To welcome people to the conversation classes and act as an ambassador for Gàidhlig gach Latha/ and TSH remembering its charitable purposes.
To attend the classes and encourage Gaelic conversation.
To support those who are learning Gaelic as well as fluent/native speakers.
To input into the ongoing development and strategy of the Gàidhlig gach Latha – tell us what you see and what you feel!
To observe our confidentiality policy.
Experience required
Aged 18 or over.
Interested in working with people of all ages from all different walks of life.
Good listeners and communicators.
Willing to read and follow the guidance provided about the role and to ask for help from staff where needed.
Diligent, with positive aspirations and motivations for volunteering.
Willing to observe the organisation's guidelines and policies.
Reliable, patient, kind, sensitive, caring and happy to be part of a team.
Willing to undertake a PVG check and to provide details of two referees.
Understanding of the need for and able to keep confidentiality.

Minimum age: 18
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
