Volunteer eBook & Course Content Creator
Are you interested in digital storytelling and creating online content? Would you like to build your skills while contributing to a community-focused organisation?
About the Role
You’ll help turn ideas into engaging digital resources that support learning and digital inclusion. This may include:
Drafting and formatting eBooks
Supporting the creation of online course materials
Using digital tools (including AI tools) to help develop content
Contributing ideas to improve how information is shared and presented
Time Commitment & Location
Time commitment: Around 5 hours per week (flexible where possible)
Location: Flexible – remote or hybrid (Glasgow-based opportunities available)

Support to Volunteers
As a volunteer, you will be supported throughout your role. This includes:
An induction to help you get started and understand the organisation
Ongoing guidance and support from a named contact
Access to training and learning resources, including digital and AI tools
Regular check-ins and feedback to support your development
A flexible and supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace

Experience required

You don’t need formal experience, but the following will help you get the most from the role:
• An interest in writing, content creation, or digital media
• Basic IT skills (e.g. using Word, Google Docs, or similar tools)
• Willingness to learn new platforms and tools (including AI tools)
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and able to commit to agreed time commitments

Location: Flexible, Hybrid (Glasgow-based) or Work from Home.
If coming to our premises: Direct Bus (No walking from station)

Seaforth Road stop (closest – 1–2 min walk)
