Workshop Volunteer

We are looking for people who would be interested in volunteering within our workshops at Corbenic. Workshops run Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5pm and cover a variety of fields such as :- Pottery, Craft, Woodwork, Estate, Garden, Farm, House Gardens.
We are a registered Care Home for Adults with Learning Disabilities who you would be working with alongside a Workshop leader in each area.
You do not need to have direct experience in any of these areas as full training will be given, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn will go a long way.

Experience required

If you have experience in any of the above areas that is great or experience working with people with Learning disabilities however this is not essential as training will be given

Travel details

Our location is in rural Perthshire and although a beautiful location also means that there is no public transport so the ability to drive here is essential

We would require any volunteers to undergo an interview in person on site and if successful you would be given a full induction into your chosen workshop

Restrictions

Minimum age: 18

All volunteers to our community need to have a PVG and this is something that Corbenic will process for you
