Scotland Family Group Committee Member- Tayside

Make a difference in your community
Adjusting to life with diabetes whether for yourself or a loved one can be challenging. Connecting with others who understand can make a real difference. Our local groups bring people together to share experiences, build confidence and support one another. These community-based groups are run by committed volunteers who help create welcoming, supportive spaces.
As a volunteer committee member, you’ll play an important role in keeping the group active, whether that’s helping at meetings, promoting the group locally or supporting members behind the scenes. No specialist knowledge is needed just enthusiasm and a desire to help. There are flexible roles to suit different skills, interests and time commitments. Volunteering is a rewarding way to meet new people, develop skills and positively impact the lives of others affected by Diabetes.
