Caretaker

The Whiteinch Centre is launching a Repair Café pilot project—and we need to build our team!
Repair Cafes are free volunteer-led events where anyone can bring broken household items, and skilled volunteers try best to fix them. There are over 50 Repair Cafes in Scotland, and 2000 internationally, but no Repair Cafes in West Glasgow - until now!
Whether you’re skilled in:
Textiles
Small electricals
General repairs
Bicycles
Love greeting peopke and creating a welcoming environment
Or just love fixing things in general!
You can help your community, share your skills, and keep items out of landfill.
We’re running a series of Repair Cafés over the next year—so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
