To promote all or any activities for the benefit of the community now or hereafter deemed by law to be charitable. 2. To promote, encourage and assist in the restoration, maintenance and use of canals in Scotland as amenity, recreational and/or commercial waterways, and to do all things necessary to that end. 3. To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes or any of them.
