Online Community Supporter

Adelphe Connect develops and delivers community projects specifically designed to uplift women, and foster a community where health, confidence and opportunity intersect. They work closely with ethnic minority women to offer customised support and empower every woman to truly thrive.
Adelphe Connect is looking for an online community supporter for their supportive online community of women. Your role will be to:
Create a warm, welcoming online space
Welcome new people
Support conversation in the WhatsApp chat
Help participants know how to get involved and next steps
As an Adelphe Connect volunteer, you can be part of a friendly team, you can make a difference in your local community, and you can gain experience in community engagement.

Experience required

● Friendly and approachable.
● Good communication skills.
● Respectful of confidentiality and cultural diversity.
● Reliable and willing to volunteer as part of a team.

Travel details

Adelphe runs a drop-in with the Community Support Hub in Dunfermline's Kingsgate Centre, KY12 7QU. This role can also be undertaken from home.

Travel expenses

Expenses can be discussed on a 1-1 basis.

Support
Training details

Volunteers will receive an induction to Adelphe, and will have ongoing support from other members of the team.
