Treasurer for Youth Charity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Treasurer to join the board of our Community Interest Company (CIC). While we have a bookkeeper handling day-to-day transactions, we need a skilled volunteer to oversee our financial health, provide strategic insight, and ensure transparency in all financial matters.
As Treasurer, you will:

Review and interpret financial accounts and forecasts

Monitor cash flow and provide guidance for sustainable financial planning

Attend quarterly board meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making

Support the board in understanding financial information and implications

Promote transparency and good governance in financial reporting

This is a voluntary position, offering the chance to play a key role in guiding the financial sustainability of a meaningful community organisation.
If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder for your emails, just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out, then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow.
