The Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 brings together Health and Social Care services in to a partnership arrangement. This is overseen by the integrated Joint Board (IJB) made up of representatives from NHS Ayrshire & Arran, East Ayrshire Council and other relevant partners.
The volunteer has responsibility for: Contributing to good governance of the HSCP; Raising the profile of the public, user, carer and third sector voices and will have roles outwith IJB meetings.
