Intensive Care Unit volunteer

An opportunity has arisen in the Intensive Care Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Volunteers in the Intensive Care Unit provide a “Meet and greet” service for visitors to the unit. They are based at the Reception desk, and provide support to the staff by checking that patients are able to receive visitors and that visitors are shown to the patient’s bed.
Can you help to fill this gap on Thursdays? Want to know more? Get in touch and come along and spend some time shadowing a voluntee.
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) encourages and supports people aged 55+ to volunteer in their local communities. Across Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire we run 5 projects involving hundreds of volunteers. These include volunteering activities within local hospitals and primary schools, charitable knitting groups, a walking group for older people, and a community Handyperson Service.
