As a Schools Champion, you will support Team Jak by raising awareness of our work in schools and engaging young people in our campaigns and activities. You will help organise and assist with school visits, workshops, and fundraising events, acting as a friendly and knowledgeable ambassador for the charity.
Contact and Visit Primary & Secondary Schools
Present talks to Assemblies and classes and groups as required
Coordinating our YPI schools, including offering tours and further information
Attending YPI events when teams reach the final
Act as “signposter” for anyone requiring support
Experience required
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working, and committed volunteers.
Ideally, knowledge of and enjoyment of gardening, but direction will be provided
