As a Volunteer Play Leader, you will support staff by engaging children in play activities at Jak’s Den. You will assist at family events with setup, supervision, and clearing up, leading arts, crafts, and games, while creating a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Play with children
Help prepare beforehand- games, craft activities etc
Use initiative in developing activities and other ideas if required within sessions
Act as “signposter” for anyone requiring support at the event
Collect items required and help set up and clear away
Experience required
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working, and committed volunteers.
Ideally, knowledge of and enjoyment of gardening, but direction will be provided
