Volunteer Driver

Headway Falkirk supports people who have suffered a brain injury, promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers. In addition, Headway will campaign to reduce the incidence of brain injury.
Headway are currently looking for volunteer drivers to pick up members from their home, bring them to the group at Thornhill Community Centre and then drop them back home again when the group is finished. Volunteers are not required or expected to stay at the group (between collection/drop offs) should they choose not to.
There are currently three people to be picked up for the group (two from the same household). Areas for pick-up and drop-off are California and Airth.
Drivers are not required to assist anyone in/out of their home or car, however, one person does have a walker so a car with space in the boot for this would be required.
It would make a huge difference to these people to be able to attend this group and receive the much needed help and support that Headway can offer.

Experience required

Volunteers should be friendly, patient and understanding.
