Female Project Coordinator

The International Women’s Group (IWG) is looking for an organised and passionate Volunteer Project Coordinator to join our team at the St. Matthews Centre. This role is vital in ensuring our members have access to learning opportunities and creative workshops.
Main Responsibilities

External Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external organizations (such as Glasgow Life or local artists) to plan and deliver learning programs.

Class Management: Oversee the smooth running of weekly sessions, ensuring tutors and participants have what they need.

Team Communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between volunteers, teachers, and IWG team members.

Creative Promotion: Create simple, eye-catching posters and digital flyers using Canva or other programs to promote upcoming classes and events.

Resource Management: Ensure learning materials and technology are ready for use during workshops.

If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). The coordinator will then contact you by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder for your emails, just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out, then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow at [email protected]

Experience required

  • Female only since our organisation mainly serves for international women.

  • Someone who can manage multiple schedules and keep projects on track.

  • Ability to interact warmly and professionally with diverse stakeholders and women from several nationalities.

  • Comfortable using Canva for basic design and familiar with digital tools like Google Calendar or Facebook.
