Volunteer Treasurer / Accountant Support

Holy Generation is a newly registered Scottish charity with a Christian vision to equip and support children and young people through biblical teaching, discipleship, youth training, holiday clubs, church partnerships, and community outreach.
We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer / Accountant Support person to help us build a strong financial foundation as the charity begins this next stage. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who wants to use their finance, bookkeeping, accounting, or organisational skills to support a growing Christian youth-focused charity from the beginning.
The role may include helping us set up simple financial systems, track income and expenditure, keep accurate records, support budgeting, prepare basic financial reports for trustees, organise receipts and invoices, and help us understand charity finance requirements. Experience with charity accounts, Gift Aid, spreadsheets, or accounting software would be helpful, but you do not need to know everything. A careful, trustworthy, organised person with a willingness to learn would be a real blessing.
This is currently a voluntary role, and the time commitment can be discussed. At this early stage, even a few hours a month would make a significant difference. The role can be flexible and partly remote, with occasional meetings or calls as needed.
Because Holy Generation is a Christian charity, we are looking for someone who is sympathetic to and supportive of our Christian vision, values, and purpose.
This is a great opportunity to help shape the financial systems of a new charity, support work among children and young people, and be part of something with long-term spiritual and community impact.
For more information please contact John Amalanand, trustee at email [email protected] or telephone: 07378777996
