Blind Veterans UK
- VO105848
As a Home Visitor in Dundee, you’ll offer regular companionship to a visually impaired veteran who may be feeling isolated, through friendly visits (often weekly or fortnightly) that fit around your commitments.
Visits can be as simple as a cuppa and a chat and may also include supporting the veteran to get out locally for a gentle walk or a coffee, depending on their interests and what you feel comfortable offering. You’ll volunteer independently but will be fully trained and supported, with your manager only a phone call away and a network of other volunteers to link in with.
