Your role as a volunteer will be to support Dundee Libraries to increase their online presence and engagement through regular, creative and meaningful social media activity across platforms.
· Work closely with staff & other volunteers to gather relevant content and information as directed by the Social Media Team
· Create engaging content (posts, stories, graphics, short videos, electronic newsletter) in line with the organisation’s voice and mission
· Support campaigns to promote services and events
Experience required
Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram
Strong written communication skills with an eye for tone and detail
Creative and comfortable using design tools like Canva, Sway (or willing to learn)
Organised, self-motivated, and reliable -
Experience in social media content planning or marketing is a plus, but not essential
Travel expenses
