Pride House 2026 - Front of House

Pride House Glasgow returns in 2026 as the official LGBTIQ+ hub of the Commonwealth Games — a vibrant, inclusive and welcoming space at the heart of Glasgow celebrating equality, visibility, sport, culture and community. Operating between 22nd July and 3rd August 2026, Pride House will provide a safe and accessible environment for LGBTIQ+ people, athletes, visitors, allies and local communities to come together during the Games.
Throughout the programme, visitors will be able to watch and engage with the Games together, attend community and cultural events, connect with others, access information and support, and celebrate the contribution of LGBTIQ+ people in sport and society. Pride House aims to create an atmosphere that is positive, friendly, respectful and welcoming to everyone.
Our Front of House Volunteers will play a vital role in helping create this experience. As one of the first points of contact for visitors entering the venue and event spaces, volunteers will help ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and feels comfortable, informed and included throughout their visit.
Tasks may include:
Welcoming visitors and helping create a friendly atmosphere
Supporting the reception and information desk
Checking in guests for ticketed events and activities
Providing basic information about the venue, programme and facilities
Encouraging passers-by to visit Pride House events and activities
Assisting attendees with accessibility or general enquiries where appropriate
Gathering feedback from attendees about events and experiences
Helping maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming environment
Supporting the wider Pride House team with general event duties as required
